first launch

Installed in a minute.

01 / Windows

Run the installer

  1. Open the downloaded .exe.
  2. If SmartScreen appears, choose More info → Run anyway.
  3. Finish the wizard and open Terminus from the Start menu.

02 / macOS

Drag, then Control-click Open

  1. Open the DMG and drag Terminus into Applications.
  2. In Applications, Control-click Terminus → Open.
  3. Confirm Open once. Later launches work normally.
If macOS says “damaged”

Open Terminal, run this once, then launch again:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Terminus.app

before you start

Bring an agent.

Terminus includes its own desktop runtime, but it launches the agent CLIs you choose. Install Claude Code, Codex, or Antigravity first and make sure its command works in your normal terminal. Plain terminal panes work without an agent CLI.
